MINUTES: Ithaca Community Police Board

Council Chambers
TIME /DATE: March 27, 2003 at 3:30 p.m.
PRESENT: Commissioners Wigden,Laskowitz,McGruder,
Rovelstad, Whispell,Passmore, Alderperson Pryor
Deputy Chief David Barnes, Staff:Nancy Falconer.
Absent:Commissioner Nelson,Acting Chief Lauren Signer
The meeting was called to order at 3:35 PM.
1. Amvroval of Minutes of February 27, 2003
The minutes were approved unanimously. Motion by
Commissioner Whispell, second by Laskowitz. Voted for:
Commissioners Laskowitz, Whispell, Wigden, McGruder,
Rovelstad. Against: None.
2. Comments by Public
No one from the public was present to speak.
3. Report From Common Council
No report was given.
4.1tnort From the Police Department
No action taken.
5. Old Business
a)Commissioner McGruder listed tabling arrangements for the
coming season and will submit a written list next month.
b)Elections for Chair and Vice Chair will be held next month.
c) Discussion of vacancies on Board.
6. New Business
a) The invitation to the new Chief of IPD (Loo) was
distributed
7. Adjournment to Executive Session
One investigation was discussed.
