Hospital & Doctor Calling attention to the large number oi` Bills Hospital and Doctor bills in the Charity Audit, Cl-;E rity Alderman Causer asked if something could be done to reduce this expense pointing out that one Doctors bill alone totaled over $300 and that the entire group account being almost half of* . the entire audit. Carried. Elyea Re�'und The Clerk stated that the City Engineer reports that the curbing assessment of $35.00'p6,ia by Alice Y. Elyea, for 50 foot frontage at #442 N. Titus Ave., was $1.40 too much since the frontage should have been 48 feet making the assessment $3 .60 ana that he recommended that a refund of $1.1!O- be authorized. 'idatkins Donovan Reporting on a matter referred to`him at a Property previous meeting Alderman Causer stated that the best price that he could secure for the Watkins property on Taughannock Boulevard. is $1,750 and for the Donovan property - $1,500. In this connection Engineer Eustance explained in detail the advantages in obtaining title to these properties at this time in, order to simplify and materially aid in the construction of the proposed concrete pavement in Taughannook Boulevard.
