Heath Clerk: W. O. K err Judge: D. Crowley Chamberlain: C.A. Snyder Minutes of the preeeeding meeting were read and approved. I -layer Howe opened the Public Hearing, as advertised, on a petition to amend the Zone Ordinance with reference to Zone Map .ap changing the zone on the North side of the 100 and 200 amended blocks of East Buffalo Street. No persons appeared in F.Buffalo relation thereto, and no objection was filed by the City St. Planning Commission. It was therefore, MOVED by Alderman Causer, seconded by Alderman Lowe: RESOLVED, that the Official Zone Map of the Building Zone Ordinan4 e be and the same is hereby amended, by changing from an "A" Residence District to a Commercial District, all those properties fronting on the north side of East Buffalo St. from and between the easterly side of DeWitt Park to the westerly side of North Aurora Street, and said properties, as now laid out, are hereby designated as a Commercial District. This amendment dhall take effect upon publication thereof. Adopted and approved. Clerk Kerr reported that he had received the resignation of Alderman Alderman Comfort who had removed from the Fifth Ward, and Comfort on motion of Aldermen Causer the same was accepted and resigns ordered filed. Reporting further the clerk stated that petitions had been filed from each of the districts of the fifth wa2d, asking the appointment of George F. Rogalsky to fill the vacancy. Speaking on behalf of 14r.Rogalsky's appointment, Alderman Hoffman, representing that Tard, recommended the appointment and offered the following resolution, which was unanimously carried: By,Alderman Hoffman; seconded by Alderman Causer: Rogalsky RESOLVED, that George F. Rogalsky be and he is hereby appointed appointed alderman from the Fifth Ward to fill the vacancy alderman caused by the resignation of Alderman Comfort, until such time as a successor can be duly elected. Vote: Ayes; Sammons,Causer,IFyers,Lowe,Hoffman,Howe• Nays; None. Adopted. MMayor. A request from Pars. Alice K. DeGrassi to have her property DeGrassi at 111 W.Green St. changed from a "B" Residence district to a Commercial District was refered to the Planning Commission. A communication from the Assessor, filed herewith, recom- mending the expungment of an item of S2 cents from the tax roll was approved and the request for rulging on who should pay the tax on the Westminister Chior School property was refered to the City Attorney for investigation and report. On motion of Alderman Causer the audit was duly approved.
