DETAIL OF COMPLETED WORK S C * i'v " I
Response in order listed in December 11, 2007 letter of deficiencies.
GREEN STREET PARKING GARAGE:
Due to delays in the construction schedule, the garage reconstruction project
has not been completed as anticipated. As of this date, the upper levels of
the garage is open to accommodate about 300 vehicles of the 457 total
design capacity. ADA parking spaces in the garage have not been installed,
at this time, due to the elevator installation not being completed to allow
handicapped egress. Until the garage is completed to accept full parking
capacity, the two (2) Van Accessible spaces and seven (7) regular ADA
parking spaces required in the upper garage levels have been added to the
surface lot under the garage structure. These nine (9) combined ADA
temporary spaces are in addition to the four (4) permanent ADA spaces
required in the surface lot.

slope requirements. Two (2) Van Accessible spaces are installed on the top
level along with two regular ADA parking spaces. The height restriction bar
located at the garage entrance was removed to allow van access through the
garage entrance. A new height bar was installed at the entrance of the
covered section of the garage leading to the lower levels. One additional
regular ADA parking space was added to the lowest level in the closest
position available to the point of entrance.

STEWART PARK:
Much effort was placed in Stewart Park to meet the requirements for both
ADA parking and to provide accessible paths to the park elements. Several
of the ADA parking spaces were reconfigured, correct signs installed, and
striped. Stone dust surfaced access paths were constructed in three
locations. One path is on the east side of the park between the parking lot to
the lake shore. This path accesses a picnic table and a park bench. A second
path was constructed in the center of the park to access the small pavilion,
water spray, playground and carousel. The third path is located on the west
side, which accesses a bench along the lake shore and a picnic bench
location. Pictures of the improvements follow.
