which included Lowes using unlicensed plumbers.
•Backflow preventer policy. Still working on it.
•FOG, working with Ed Gottlieb to review software.
•Joe distributed a proposed fine structure for the Plumbing Policy. This includes re-inspection fees.
Joe passed a motion to approve the document. Seconded by Tommy. Approved unanimously.
Scott will forward to City Attorney's which will likely involve Code/Planning input. Once approved
at that level, it would need to go to council and passed by resolution. Dave suggested a
presentation.
•Joe talked about problems with the Building and Code policy that affects W&S. He wants the
Examining Board to review and make comments.
•Joe distributed an updated Master Plumber's list. Still problems with active/inactive listing. Not
going to require inactive plumbers to update insurance or other documentation. $50 to maintain
inactive status.
•Joe has another letter going out to the Master Plumbers. Is there anything the group things
should be in the letter?
•Joe will be writing a violation letter for backflow preventer deficiencies.
•Joe asked if we were ok with two exams one of which is a retest. Christian Sickler, Rick Dannon,
No problem from the board.
•Scott nominated Joe to be the Board Chair. Dave Warden seconded. Unanimously approved.
Still need to work on Journeyman's license.
