•Reports and Violations -9 grease traps on Dryden Road failed. One on Eddy Street that failed. 3
unlicensed plumbers and 4 with no permits. DDS/Meadow Street with storm piping inside
building. One was Ricky Barber who did not renew his license. Auchinauchie Plumbing.
•Backflow program approved and awaiting software pricing.

•Fines/reinspection fees. Dominick Recckio has been plugged in and will be having a sit down with
Planning and Building and Codes to develop an enforcement program.
•Joe announced the promotion of Scott Gibson to Superintendent of Public Works and Matt
Sledjeski to Assistant Superintendent of DPW, Water & Sewer. Both are acting roles right now.
•Plan to get rid of water heater permit and combine the residential permits. Before, you had to
pull a permit from the Building Department with a separate plumbing permit. It was confusing to
determine who needed what permit and water heaters were getting lost in the shuffle. In the
future, the separate heater permit will go away in lieu of a general plumbing permit which would
incorporate the water heater "permit".
•Group feels that the Master Plumber's test should be updated with latest code. It's a lot of work
to change the test every few years. $125 per test app.
•Mike Mahool just received his certificate of competency as a new Master Plumber.
•No public comment.
•Next meeting July 27 at 10:00, Water & Sewer Conference Room
