Discussion Summary: The March 19th, 2025, City of Ithaca Committee of the Whole Study
Session meeting is called to order. All members are in attendance. There are no changes
to the agenda however, Mayor Cantelmo asked for Council's patience as he rearranges
the order in which the items will be discussed due to one of the representatives from the
Sustainability and Climate Justice Committee is arriving late for their agenda discussion

Justice Commissioner Siobhan presented before Council a discussion on passing
a resolution reaffirming the commitments made by the city in support of the Ithaca
Green New Deal (IGND) The Mayor informed Council this is not a voting Item but a
recommendation from SCJC. The Mayor asked the two Liaisons (Haines-Sharp
and Saint-Perez) to work with the Commission on drafting a resolution.
