COMMUNITY POLICE BOARD MINUTES

Approval of the May 15, 2024, Community Police Board Meeting Minutes
Resolution:
By Commissioner Rogers: Seconded by Commissioner Bursic
RESOLVED, That the minutes of the May 15, 2024, Community Police Board meeting
be approved as published.
Carried Unanimously
Report from Staff:
PIS Faraday reports that the Clerkâs Office oversees translation services for any needs
that CPB might have in relation to an investigation.
Old Business:
6.1 Follow up on Outreach
Commissioner Onyejuruwa requested a simple form be created for the CPB page that
would not require a sign in to complete. PIS Faraday created the form, it is live on the
website now.
We will see how the process looks and review moving forward.
When we create informational materials, the QR code will lead folks to the CPB page.
The group will be kept informed of progress of print materials.
The group in encouraged to review the online form and provide any recommended edits
or feedback.
The group discusses ways to find out if individuals are assisted appropriately in filling
out their forms at the agencies that provide them.
6.2 IPD Reporting Items
The group discusses what information they would like the monthly IPD report out to the
group to contain. Ideas will be circulated for discussion via email and this item will be
revisited in July in the presence of the Chief so that he may be involved in the process.
