Question and Answers
Focusing on local priorities for establishing a more resilient community
• With 3 degrees of warming already baked into our atmosphere, should we begin to shift our attention from
mitigation efforts and invest more in deep adaption strategies?
• Does the Green New Deal anticipate technology fixes and an expanded economy to achieve our goals? How do
we avoid overproduction, excess consumption, waste, and more pollution?
• How do we achieve a sustainable prosperity to meet everyone’s needs without exceeding the Earth’s capacity to
provide us all with adequate sustenance, shelter, and security?
Refreshments at 6:30 p.m.
