The Tompkins County Health Department along with the Senior Citizens Council will be conducting flu clinics at various sites throughout Tompkins County during the months of October and November. Check out the listing below for a site nearest you. Remember, if you are 65 years of age or older, we recommend you receive a flu shot every year. Medicare part B will pay for flu shots given either at your doctor's or at one of our clinics. Bring your Medicare card with you to clinic. In addition, if you have never had the pneumonia shot, you should consider getting one. Pneumonia shots will be available at all flu clinic sites. Medicare part B will pay for the pneumonia shot at your doctor's or at clinic. If you've had the pneumonia shot before, check with your doctor first about whether you should get another one this year. Get the flu shot this fall to keep you in the Swing of things all winter!
