At the request of the Mayor, the Engineer showed. by maps and. by calculations based. upon
his earlier report of sewer line capacity how the sewage flowing from the Village'of
Lansing and ad.jacent areas affected. the sewer l-j-nes within the Vill-age of Cayuga HeightsJ
After much discussion, the opinion of the Engineer and. of the Board was that the fl-ow
into the Airport Trunk Sewer was now causing minor problems insid.e the Vil-lage of Cayuga
Heights and. that these shouJ-d be remed-ied. The sevage flow from Sewer Districts I and. 2
in the Village of Lansing now passes through a l-ine under Route 13 which has a capacity
of 0.65 *.p.g, The present fl-ow through that line l-eaves, in the jud-gment of the Engineer'
an ad.d.itional- 0.275 m.p.g. which is available to the Village of Lansing.

The Board d.iscussed the topics and the views of policy it thought appropriate in
negotiating a sewer contract with the Vil-l-age of Lansing. It instructed. the Mayor to

it to the Board- and. its officers as soon as possible. The Mayor agreed. to send. it out on
December 3I, 1975. He asked. those who rec eived. it to return it to him by January 5119T6-
He was instructed. to incorporate sueh alterations as he thought appropriate and. to send the
=amend.ed- statement to Mayor Snid.t of the Viltage of Lansing and to suggest that the Lansing
ViJ-Iage Boarcl, after read.ing our statement, rnight be willing to join with us in d.iscussing
