HomeMy WebLinkAboutCertified ZBA Resolution 8.7.23 Police Dept. & Village Administration OFFICE HOURS 9 AM – 4:30 PM www.cayuga-heights.ny.us Village of Cayuga Heights 836 HANSHAW ROAD ∙ ITHACA ∙ NY ∙ 14850 (607) 257-1238 ∙ FAX: (607) 257-4910 Transmittal: I, Amy Jacot, the duly elected and qualified Village Deputy Clerk of the Village of Cayuga Heights, New York, do hereby certify that the following Resolution was adopted at a meeting of the Village Zoning Board of Appeals held on August 7, 2023, and is incorporated in the original minutes of said meeting and is on file and of record, and that said resolution has not been altered, amended, or revoked and is in full force and effect. Resolution: BE IT RESOLVED THAT: The Zoning Board of Appeals determined that through the five SEQR findings, the benefit to the homeowner would be greater than the detriment to the neighborhood. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT: The Village of Cayuga Heights Zoning Board of Appeals grants the Area Variance request of C. Colbert, owner of 203 Cayuga Heights Road, Ithaca, N.Y. 14850 with the following conditions: An official surveyor place survey stakes along the property line, so that the fence installers and code enforcement officials can clearly see them. The east end of the fence can be no closer than 2’ to the neighbor’s (201 Cayuga Heights Rd.) garage. The fence should be a stockade type with a natural wood surface. The fence should be built substantially as described in the application and the photograph provided by the contractor. Motion: R. Parker Second: S. Barnett Ayes: Chair L. Staley; Members: R.
