Subject: RE: cornell child care geothermal project
Hi Brent,
The Town of Ithaca concurs with the Village of Cayuga Heights declara on to be the lead agency for the environmental
review of the Cornell Child Care Geothermal Project.
This project does not require site plan approval from the Town of Ithaca Planning Board. Further, the proposed building
will be located en rely within the Village of Cayuga Heights, so the Town of Ithaca Building Department has no concerns
or objec ons. Also, the Town of Ithaca Engineering Department has reviewed the plans and has spoken with Cornell
University regarding the geothermal wells, who has confirmed that all wells will be within the Village of Cayuga Heights.
Therefore, the Engineering Department has no objec ons, comments, or concerns.
Thank you for the opportunity to review the project and comment.
Cheers,
Chris (she/her)
