The rain garden will have a 4” perforated underdrain as the primary outlet rou ng method, and a 1.3’x2.0’ cast in place concrete (or possibly dry laid stone) spillway as the secondary outlet rou ng method. The pre-developed to post-developed HydroCAD modeling results are summarized in the table below: HYDROLOGIC MODELING RESULTS Peak Rate of Runoff (cfs) 1-yr 10-yr 100-yr Pre-Developed: 0.29 0.85 2.00 Post-Developed: 0.25 0.67 1.98 (-0.04)(-0.18)(-0.02) As you can see from the table and a ached modeling results, peak discharge rates are mi gated for the 1, 10, and 100- year storm events by using the deten on capacity inherent in the rain garden.
