Dear Mayor Woodard:
Please search the accounts payable records of the Village of Cayuga Heights, the Village Police
Department and the Village Fire Department for any record of payments (ledger entries, check
stubs, cancelled checks, monthly accountant's reports, etc.) to any party during the period, April
1967 to December 1967, for activities or services (e.g. travel expense, oveftime compensation,
personnel augmentation, forensic laboratory reports, evidence preservation materials, etc.)
pertaining to the investigation of the 05 April 1967 dormitory fire.
Requested information includes (1) the date of payment, (2) recipient and (3) reason for the
expenditure.
Requested information also includes any records of any payments (other than normal wages) to
CIIPD Chief Jack W. McGraw, Sr., or CTIPD Sergeant Harlin R. McEwen for expenses or
overtime relating to the subject fire.
This is not a request for police investigative reports or records. Nor is it a request for financial
records concerning the deployment of firefighting personnel or equipment in response to the
subject fire.
