RE: Request per New York State Public Officers Law, Article 6, §84-90 (Freedom of
Information Law) for records relating to the 05 Apr 1967 Dormitory Fire, Cornell Heights
Residential Club (now called Hurlburt House / Ecology House, Cornell University Facility
3127), 111 Country Club Rd., Village of Cayuga Heights, NY. Nine fatalities.
Dear Ms. Joan M. Mangione:
Please conduct a thorough search for all Village documents, records, reports, correspondence,
meeting minutes, diaries, etc., relating to the subject fire that resulted in nine arson homicides.
The search may be restricted to documents dated 1967 and located in the archived record
collections of (1) former Village Mayor (1956 -1988) Frederick G. Marcham, PhD ‘26 (1898-
1992), (2) the Village of Cayuga Heights Board of Trustees, (3) the Village Attorney and (4) the
Village Fire Department.
The following document is not required.
