Re: November 7th zoning variance meeting.
Dear Mr. Cross,
It is unlikely that we will be able to attend the November 7th zoping variance
meeting, Hence, we would like to place in writing our OBJECTION to allowing a
reduced setback for a portable shed.
1. First, from a governing point of view, it would establish a difficult precedent
for the Zoning Board, in particular since there are viable alternative
locations within the property. The 25-foot minimum is a reasonable
restriction that helps preserve the beauty of our community.
2. Second, it is a fear that the shed, too, will be painted "Smurf blue" making
a less than 25-foot minimum set back all the more egregious.
