projects honored
for preservation

Historic Ithaca honored several
city projects and the historic preser-
vation efforts put into them at an event
Thursday night at La Tourelle.
Three residential projects and two
renovation efforts on Cornell Univer-
sity's campus were honored at the or-ganization's annual Preservation
Awards, which honors preservation,
restoration, rehabilitation or adaptive
reuse projects completed within the
past two years.
The residential projects recog-
nized: An interior rehabilitation pr6-
ject at 110 N. Titus St, by Teresa Vossen
and Gary Bucci; additions to a house at
948 E. State St. by STREAM Collabora-
tive and the Calvey family; and a reha-
bilitation to a rental house at 604 E.
State St. by David Kramer and Roger

recognized for an interior rehabilitation
project.
Smith.
Cornell University was lauded for its
work on adding an accessible restroom to
Sage Chapel and a major overhaul of
Stocking Hall.
Several other preservation efforts re-
da received the Joseph O. Ciaschi Award
for Preservation Excellence.
