AGENDA

EXHIBIT 2017-019
WHEREAS, Kathryn D. Supron has submitted her resignation effective May 30, 2016; and
WHEREAS, an election will be held in March 2017, and
WHEREAS, Linda Woodard has served as a Village of Cayuga Heights Board of Trustee with distinction,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Village of Cayuga Heights Board of Trustees elects
Linda Woodard to serve as Mayor of the Village of Cayuga Heights until April 2017.
EXHIBIT 2017-020
Linda Woodard appoints Kathryn Supron as a Trustee on the Board of the Cayuga Heights.
Note:
In advance of the special Board meeting next week, I wanted to confirm the rarely implemented procedures
regarding appointment to fill the vacancies created by Kate’s resignation and then by Linda’s anticipated
appointment as Mayor.
All I had explained is accurate, with the exception that, once the new Mayor appoints an individual to fill the
vacancy of a Trustee, there is no requirement for the remaining Board members to approve the Mayor’s
appointment.
In summary, at next week’s special meeting, the Board will, by resolution and majority vote, appoint the new
Mayor. At such time as the new Mayor determines, the Mayor will appoint a new Trustee.
Very truly yours,
Randy
