Fo1 the month of April there were a total of 727 complaints reported to the Police Department and 2 motor

Dur:ing April there were four felony complaints, all for Burglary. One burglary was the theft of 2 pledge

subject climb into the window and grab the paddles. When the male realizedsomeone had seen him, he leftquickly through the same window. The burglary was not reported to the police until several hours after theincident took place. .The remaining 3 burglaries were reported by residents of a fratemity. All 3
conplainants reported items, IPods, digital camera and money, taken from their unlocked rooms which are
located on a common hallway. A11 4 burglaries are still open. There were eleven misdemeanors reported:
one for Issuing a Bad Check, six for Petit Larceny, one for Criminal Mischief, two for Aggravated
Harassment and one for Identity Theft. The bad check case is still pending. Two bad check cases from
March have been closed, one with the restitution paid in full. The other bad check case resulted in the
arrest of a 20 yeat old male, One petit larceny was the report of a customer who pumped gasoline into her
vehicle and left without paying. The customer was contacted and retumed to pay. Aresilent reported an
electronic game box and numerous games missing from his apartment. The striei sign for Texas Lane wasreported missing. The sign post was found in the ditch a few yards from the intersection. The
administrator at Kendal of Ithaca reported that a few tablets of a presciiption drug were missing and could
not be accounted for from the secured medication cart. He advised that he was implem"niing tighter
resfi:ictions and controls. A resident of the Townhouses reported that he suspected a housemate ofsteating
money and other items over a period of time from a number of others who reside there" Money had been
recovered from the suspect who was given a JA Refenal through Cornell. The final petit larceny occurred
when a business owner reported that a female client placed numerous beauty product items into her vehicle
and left without paying. A friend of the client arrived at the business and paid for all the products. The
complainant declined to press charges but did not want the female back at the business again. the criminal
mischief case was the discovery of writing with some fype of marker on the center and east walls in SunsetPark. Photos were taken to document the case. The writings made reference to gang and gang activities. With Snoop Dogg coming to Cornell to perform and with his gang affiliations, the f'gt-fieta office in
Binghamton was advised. One of the aggravated harassment "ur"r *ar reported when a resident of Kendal
rec, eived a disturbing phone call. Her caller ID indicated the phone number where the call originated" The
officer obtained the address of the phone number and responded to that location. A female subject at that
resiclent explained that she had found out that her children had been bored and made random prank calls
dur:ing the afternoon. The ofhcer spoke to the children and advised them ofthe seriousness oftheir actions.
The mother assured the officer that it would not happen again. A complainant reported that her mother
recently passed away and that she and her brother have received phone calls while they have been at the
residence asking for their mother. The male caller seems to be upset that he cannot talk with her. The
complainant was going to contact the annoyance bureau. The identity theft case involved transactions on
a residence's credit card statement that she had not made. She had already contacted customer service; the
card was cancelled, and was advised that she would not be charged for them. There were seven violations

charges. A resident reported numerous juveniles on the roof at Caytga Heights School" The juveniles
were all found and warned about trespassing and the consequences. All were sent home and their parents
notified. The final trespass was the report that 2 subjects had walked through a complainant's properLy and
