Dear Fire District Resident:
I hope you have participated in the events that the Cayuga Heights Fire Company has
sponsored throughout the past year, including our pancake breikfast in the spring and our
annual Open House in October. We have worked hard to create a communiiy in which fire
safety and education are priorities and your financial support has been the driving force i' the
success of our campaign. As yet another year comes to a close, we again seek your financialinvolvement to help the Fire Company accomplish an ambitiou, ,rt oT goals inihe upcoming
year.
oI November 4il', the first of many Community CPR classes was held at the Cayuga HeightsFire Station as part of a new program designed to offer CPR and First Aid education to thecommunity free of charge' To encourage volunteerism and community involvement, the FireCompany plans to host a spaghetti dinner in December and a pancake breakfast in the spring.Further, to promote fire safety and fire prevention, especially among the youth of ourcomnrunity, our annual Open House will once again be heldduringli.. Along with these community eu"nts, the Fire Comp-any also hopes to mailtainits support for the safety and benefit of its volunteers through the purchase of improvedtraining and safety equipment for the Fire Department and ihe funding of its annual InspectionBanquet'
