ADDITIONAL TOPICS:
The website has three calendars. The Community Calendar displays ICSD info, the Refuse
Calendar, and the Village Calendar. Discussions regarding placement of notices in the
Newsletter resulted in a decision not to publish any notices for external entities. Is the same to
hold true for the website’s Community Calendar?
The Village’s network and email environment is aging. Spammers and hackers have become
more sophisticated and the hardware and software owned and licensed by the Village has not.
Discussion of the most complete solution can take place during the Budget Workshop.
Upgrading the CheckPoint Firewall is a first step to any solution.
