Cross, Zoning Officer RE: 511 Kline Road REPORT: A zoning permit application for an entry stoop roof overhang (greater than 3') at the above referenced address has been denied. The edge of roof is located at the front property line, which is less than the 25' setback as required by Section 6 of the Village of Cayuga Heights Zoning Ordinance. The owner is seeking a variance to allow the roof to remain as installed. It should be noted that the roof overhang also encroaches into the Village ROW, which will require a separate approval from the Board of Trustees to remain. Therefore, a public hearing has been scheduled for 7:00 pm on December 7, 2015 at Marcham Hall, 836 Hanshaw Road, to consider an area variance for the non- compliance.
