Rationale:
Current fence is unsightly wire construction and offers no privacy from Triphammer Road traffic
Current fence encloses only a very small portion of the yard, making it non-ideal for child/pet use
Proposed fence would enhance the look of the property—it would be wooden &the same color as the
house
Land slopes steeply away from the sidewalk,so 8ft fence would have a sight-level of 6ft or less from the
sidewalk—primary privacy concerns are from passing road traffic,which would be shielded by the fence
Installation of a fence would allow removal of several overgrown, unsightly bushes which are currently
left there for privacy purposes,thereby enhancing the appeal of the yard
