Reason(s) that the requested variance or interpretation should be granted:
A small, 27 length privacy screen/fence was erected more than 8 years ago to provide
privacy to us and to our neighbors since our home is so close to the property line.
Specifics:
- Our house is 15' from the property line
- The privacy screen is 27' in length
- It doesn't fence anything in or out
- It is naturalized and barely visible from the road
- The house has large picture windows in the front and side. The screen is located
across from our dining room window and this screen provides privacy from the
neighbors
- It can't be located closer to the house without a variance
- Our neighbors find the fence acceptable and welcome as it provides them with
privacy in their backyard where they spend much time
