Cross, Zoning Officer RE: 6 Highland Park Lane REPORT: A zoning permit application for a new fence in the front yard of the above referenced property has been denied. The fence is proposed to be 4' high but located on top of a 2' high retaining wall, resulting in a height measurement of 6'. The existing wall (new fence) is located at 19' setback from the front property line, which is less than the 25' front yard setback required by Zoning Ordinance Section 6. Yard Requirements. The applicant wishes to seek a variance to allow the 6' high fence to be located at 19' from the front property line. Therefore, a Public Hearing has been scheduled on April 4, 2012 @ 7:15 pm at the Village Hall, 836 Hanshaw Road to hear public comment on this case.
