RE: 876 Highland Road
REPORT: A building permit for addition of a second story on an existing poolhouse has denied
because there is a non-conforming side yard setback on the existing structure. The existing
poolhouse was constructed in 1965 with a setback of 8.7', even though the regulations at
the time required 15'.
Since the existing setback is less than the 15' allowed by the current Village of Cayuga
Heights Zoning Ordinance Section 6. Side Yards, a variance is required to allow it to
remain in the current location. Therefore, a Public Hearing has been scheduled on January
17`", 2012 @ 7:00 pm at Fire Station, 194 Pleasant Grove Road to consider a variance.
