As Zoning Officer Mr. Rogers reported a request for a permit to erect a car wash
at the Corners Community Center. It was felt that plans should be submitted to
the Board and that such car wash should be connected to sewer with proper grease
and oil trap.
RESOLUTION 1093 - NEW YORK STATE ELECTRIC & GAS
CORPORATION CONTRACT
VOTED that the written contract submitted by the New York State Electric & Gas
Corporation for lighting the streets and public places of the Village of Cayuga
Heights dated February 1, 1967, be and the same hereby is, approved, and that the
Mayor and the Clerk of this Board by, and they hereby are, authorized, empowered
and directed to execute the same in the name and in behalf of the Village of
Cayuga Heights.

Mrs. Freeman reported having looked over the Sewer Plant site plantings, Sunset
Park and the Village Hall. She recommended clearing out some voluntary growth
in Sunset Park and other minor repairs. She suggested having railroad ties placed
along the edge of the parking lot at the Village Hall to keep cars from driving
onto the lawn; to conceal sewer pipe and erect a flag pole in front of the Village
Office. She plans to study the sewer plant landscape plans and report further at
the next meeting.

RESOLUTION 1095 - EFFECTIVE DATE OF VILLAGE 5% CONTRIBUTION
TO NEW YORK STATE POLICEMEN'S AND
FIREMEN'S RETIREMENT SYSTEM
VOTED RESOLVED: that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Cayuga Heights does
hereby elect to cane under the provisions of Sec. 370 -a of Article 8 of the Retire-
ment and Social Security Law authorizing pensions- providing- for - increased -take-
home -pay and death benefits for officers and employees of participating employees
in the New York State Policemen's and Firemen's Retirement System, as presently or
hereafter amended: and "BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that the percentum of the member's
compensation by which contributions:.shall be reduced, shall be FIVE percentum, and
that the effective date shall be the payroll beginning on the 2nd day of May, 1967."

A detailed discussion of proposed contract with Teetor and Dobbins for remodeling
our Sewer Plant for secondary treatment culminated in the following action:
RESOLUTION 1096 - APPOINT CONSULTING ENGINEER -
TEETOR & DOBBINS
VOTED to appoint Teetor and Dobbins as our consulting engineers for studying and
advising the Village on the problems now associated with the operation of the
sewer plant and for the design and construction of additions to the plant and for
operation and supervision of the plant when the additions have been completed.

The terms of the Village relationship with Teetor and Dobbins were discussed and
agreed upon by the Board today and appropriate suggestions were made to Mr. Teetor
for modification of the original proposals.
The Village Attorney is to incorporate these suggestions into a new contract for
submission to Teetor and Dobbins for their approval.
RESOLUTION 1097 - CONTRACT - TEETOR & DOBBINS
VOTED to authorize the Mayor to enter into said contract after above noted revision.
