MINUTES of a Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees held at the Village Office
February 21, 1967 (Grievance Day) at 6 P.M.

The Board of .Trustees sitting as a Board. of Review from 6 to 10 P.M. heard petitions
for changes'in levies of the 1967 assessments for real property taxes, sewer and
water charges.
The Trustees informally authorized the issuance.of a check in the amount of $10.00
payable to the Federal Communications Commissioner to accompany application for
communications license for Police Department. Action to be formalized on March 2,
1967 at a Special Meeting.
Sitting as the Board of Trustees it was
VOTED to set Registration Day on March 41 1967, the Polls to be open from noon
to 9 P.M. at the Village Office, 194 Pleasant Grove Road.
Action.on petitions to: :be taken at recessed meeting.on March 2, 1967 at 7 P.M.
RESOLUTION 1051.- GENERAL ELECTION
VOTED resolved that pursuant to the provisions of Section 4 -428 of the Village Law,
of the State of New York, a Village Election will be held.Tuesday, March 21,:1967,
at the Village Hall, 194 Pleasant Grove Road in the Village,of Cayuga Heights, the,
polls to be open between 12 noon.and 9.P.M. on'the same day.

Total reduction of Real Property Assessment is $1,700.
Total reduction of Average Width of Lot Sewer Assessment is 20 feet.
Mr. James Lacy of the New York State Electric & Gas Corporation presented a new
contract for street lighting.
He than explained the proposal for improving our street lighting in the Village
in detail and copies of the proposal are on file.
This material was presented at this time so the cost might be considered in
preparing the tentative budget.
The Board of Trustees sitting as a Committee of the Whole resumed consideration
of the budget for 1967 -68. .
The Board discussed adopting the 5% plan df the New York State Employees' Retire-
ment System and it was the consensus of opinion that the Village do so as of
June 1, 1967 and this 5% plan be recommended to the new Board in connection with
the budget.
The budget was further discussed and completed. /
