PRESENT: Mayor Frederick G. Marcham- Trustees John Bebbington, Jr. Katherine Ensworth Taylor D. Lewis David C. Weatherby Engineer John B. Rogers Guest Mr. Matejka, representative of Charles J. Blackwell, •Inc. Clerk Snyder reported receipt and opening of two bids on a 4 -wheel drive truck at 4 P.M. today. One bid represented conversion unit and one-non- conversion unit. 1) Cayuga Motors Sales Corporation submitted bid as per specifications for conversion unit -- $10,788. Plus alternates: a) Revolving flasher - mounted 55• b) Alternator 60 amp. 115. c Snow plow pusher frame 550. d 12 foot Frink or equivalent snow wing and proper truck mounting frame 3,450- 2) Charles J. Blackwell, 'Inc. of Horseheads submitted on F. W. D. truck as per specifications for non - conversion unit. 14,391. W. D. truck submitted by Charles J. Blackwell, Inc. After much technical discussion the following action was taken: RESOLUTION 795 - BIDS REJECTED VOTED to reject bids submitted and to readvertise on November 4, 1965 for new bids on 4 -wheel drive truck to be opened November 10, 1965 at 4 P.M. RESOLUTION 796 - 4* a Iu VOTED to request Engineer, after opening of bids November 10, 1965 to examine them and present his recommendations to the Board at the next regular meeting November 15, 1965. aF it at RESOLUTION 797 - APPROVAL OF MILEAGE CHARGE VOTED to confirm verbal approval of paying mileage at the rate of 10 cents per mile to Patrolman McEwen for use of his car to patrol Village for the following two week -ends October 29 -31 (Halloween) and November 5 -7, 1965 (Fall Week End).
