Village Office, 194 Pleasant Grove Road, Ithaca, N. Y. at 7 :00 P.M.
PRESENT: Acting Mayor Thomas Norton; Trustees Baker, Dean, French, McElwee and
Wheeler; Engineer Rogers.
The Trustees sitting as a Board of Assessors fixed real property, average width of
lot and sewer unit assessments for the 1962 Village Tax Rolls for all properties
having addresses on the-following streets:
Berkshire Road Comstock Road
Brook.Iane: Corson Place
Cayuga Heights`:Road Country Club Road
Cayuga Park Circle. Dearborn Place '
Cayuga Park Road Devon Road
East Remington Road
Meeting adjourned at.11:00 P.M.

MINUTES ofla Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees held January 49 1962 at the
` Village Office, 194 Pleasant Grove Road, Ithaca, N. Y. at 7:00 P.M.
PRESENT: Acting Mayor Thomas Norton; Trustees Baker, Dean, French, and Wheeler;
Engineer Rogers; Attorney Newman.
The Trustees sitting as a Board of Assessors fixed real property, average width of
lot and sewer unit assessments for the 1962 Village Tax Rolls for all properties
having addresses on the following streets:
East Shore Drive
Forest Drive
Hampton Road
At 7:40 P.M. the Board sitting as Trustees heard Or. Newman's report on his study of
county and civil service leave regulations.
VOTED to appoint a committee to examine county and civil service leave regulations
in their entirety.
VOTED to grant three months sick leave with pay from December 49 1961 and three
® months sick leave at half pay from March 1, 1962 for Delbert Grover and if necessary
consider additional leave at expiration of six months.
Sitting as Board of Assessors the Trustees continued assessing real property,
average width of lot and sewer unit assessments for the 1962 Village Tax Rolls for
all properties having addresses on the following streets:
Hanshaw Road
Highgate Place
Highgate Road
VOTED to hold special meetings on January 9 and 10 to assess remai2ing properties.
Adjourned 11:10 P.M.

P.M. in the Village Office.
PRESENT: Mayor Marcham; Trustees Baker, Dean, French, McElwee and Wheeler; Engineer
Rogers; and Robert Wells, Town of Ithaca Assessor.

There was a discussion of sewer unit charge where an apartment is occupied by:a
relative and no rent paid, as to whether or not it should be considered an
additonal unit.
VOTED to hold another Special Meeting Tuesday, January 16, 1962 at 7:00 P.M. to
complete the assessing.
Adjourned at 11:00 P.M.
