Snyder Village Clerk A. A PUBLIC HEARING was held February 6,9: 1962 at 7:30 P.M, in the Village Office, 194 Pleasant .Grove Road, Ithaca, New York. There were 35 residents present in addition to Village Officials. Thh Mayor read the Amendments to the Zoning Ordinances' -:and the new Ordinance on. Hawkers, Peddlers and Solicitors. After the reading of the new ordinance and amendments, each was reviewed separately for discussion. During discussion of lotssizes and building coverage it was sug- gested an additional change be considered'rpermitting only one house per lot. Meeting adjourned at 8:30 P.M. B. MINUTES of Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees of,the Village of Cayuga.' Heights held at 8:45 P.M. PRESENT: Mayor.Marcham= Trustees Baker, Dean, French; Engineer Rogers. VOTED to adopt the Amendments to the'Ordinances as presented to the Public,Hearing . and contained in the.attached copy;.to be effective March 19.1962. \ b VOTED to.adopt the new- Ordinance.on Hawkers, Peddlers and Solicitors as presented' to the Public Hearing.and set forth in the attached copys to be effective-March 1, 1962. .Mayor Marcham read a letter from Greater Ithaca Regional Planning Board concerning a preliminary study of problems involved in supplying needed municipal services of 2-- 6 --6a„ %7s sewer and water to the Ithaca Urban: Area. VOTED to instruct Mayor to inform Greater Ithaca Regional Planning Board that the! • Village Board does request that the Regional Board follow out program in resolutions cost to be borne out of original contribution of $19000. Engineer Rogers presented contract for third sedimentation tank from Thomas G. Miller, Civil Engineer. Board instructed'Mr. Rogers to discuss with Mr. Miller as to whether he intended to include supervision in the.'phraseology or if it was intentionally omitted. If it was his intention not to include supervision, ask him to insert necessary wording and present price. Engineer Rogers presented contract for sewer survey from Crandall and Miller. After discussion it was decided tolturn contract over to Mr. McElwee for study. Trustee French suggested we inform Mr. Neal Stamp, Cornell-University Attorney, of the action of the Village Board.at their last meeting in reconsidering the sewer charges as applied to the former Savage Farm. Also that a letter be written to Mr. Newman asking his advice on where we stand in relation to the charges that were made to the University on former basis and which were paid under protest. Village, Clerk IIINUTES of a Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Cayuga Heights held February 229 1962 at the Village Office at 7 :30 P.M. and.the recessed Griev- ance Day meeting. PRESENT: Acting Mayor McElwee; Trustees Baker, Dean, French and Wheeler; Engineer Rogers; Fire Councilman Quinlan and Police Commissioner George. Guest, T. G. Miller, Civil Engineer. Mr. Miller appeared before the Board to explain and clarify his situation regarding engineering work on addition to sewer plant. He explained necessity for keeping plant functioning while additions were being made and also regarding changing'to a heated digester. It was explained to him that the Board was inquiring into the costs of erection of a third tank rather than the already planned addition. 2
