The proposals of Mr. Liberman for settlement of the condemnation action now going to appeal were discussed. Certain modifications of Mr. Liberman's propos- als were incorporated by agreement, and additional modification ofSection 4 relative to a sewer line from the plant to a point on the lake shore adjacent to the outfall pipe was deemed required to be equitable to both Mr. Liberman and the Village. Accordingly it was VOTED to accept the proposals drawn up by Mr. Dahman for Mr. Liberman as modified by Engineer Crandall, with the additional provision that section 4 of the proposal be further modified to commit the Village at this time to carry the proposed 6" sewer pipe from the treatment plant to the east side of the State Highway 34. The Village Attorney to draw up the necessary papers on this basis, if agreeable to Mr. Liberman. 1. The following bills were approved for payment, See Schedule $9 and 9S. 2. It was VOTED to authorize the Clerk to purchase office equipment, consist- ing of filing cabinets, storage cabinets and table in the approximate amount, of $355.50, as quoted by Van Natta Office Equipment Co. 3. It was VOTED to authorize Justice Kent to attend a training course for Peace Justices at Cortland, N.Y. and to be reimbursed for registration fee and mileage, total estimated cost $25.00. 4. It was VOTED to authorize the Clerk and Engineer to investigate the possi- bilities of employment of a "sewage plant operator" or "sewage Plant trainee" by holding State Civil Service examination or otherwise. The residence requirement to be waived. 3.
