Minutes of a Special Meeting of the Village. Board held January.11th, 1956 at
7:00 P. M. at the Village Office.
PRESENT: Mayor Henry J.Shirey, Trustees N. A. Christensen-,.F. G. Marcham, T. F.
Sharp; J. R. Simpson and H. H. Willihms. ALSO PRESENT: Engineer Carl Crandall and
Mir. William Edwards, who has applied for tbe•position of .Town of Ithaca assessor.
1. The following bills were approved for payment - See Schedule 9 and 9S
2. The Mayor reported that he and the Clerk had .checked on fire.insuranee coverage
on.the Fire Station during, construction and McKinney Agency had given coverage
until the details of ccverage by McPherson Builders were worked out.,
The Mayor submitted assessment notice-postcard worked out-by the Clerk and
IT WAS VOTED to send such notice to all property owners.
3. Starting at Mrs. Hanneh.H. Bradfield, 711 Triphammer Road the Trustees,
sitting as Assessors, considered each property separately through Ernest Kubler, 380,
The Parkway.and fixed.assessments for the 1956 roll.

7:00 P. M. at the Village Office.

T. F. Sharp, J. R. Simpson, H. H. Williams and T. P. Wright. ALSO PRESENT: .Engineer
Carl Crandall and Mr. William Edwards, who has applied for the position of Town
Assessor.
1. Sitting as Assessors the Board considered property in the Annexed Area
starting at Mrs. Helen S. IaBonte and assessed each pronerty.individually completing
the entire roll.
2. The Clerk presented two new.applications for veteran's exemption from
assessments and
IT WAS VOTED to.approve such new applications upon proper audit by the Clerk and also
to extend for the 1956 Roll those exemptions in effect on the 1955 Roll less,any separ-
ations by reason of property transfer, etc.
