MINUTES of a.Special Meeting of the Village Board held on October 19, 1954 at
7 :00 P.M. at the Village Office.
PRESENT: Henry J. Shirey, Mayor
S. S. Atwood, Trustee
F. 0. Marcham, Trustee
Lincoln Reid, Trustee
T. F. Sharp, Trustee
E. A. Whiting, Trustee
T. P. Wright, Trustee
Carl Crandall, Engineer
Robert E. Oliver, Treasurer
1. The Trustees approved the following bills for payment:
GENERAL
John G. B. Hutchins (overpayment of taxes) 421.00
HIGIUAYS
College Chevrolet Co. Inc. - Truck repair 1012 47.74
2. Sitting as the Board of Assessors,the Trustees proceeded with the assess-
ment of village property for the 1955 Village Tax Roll...
a) IT WAS VOTED to assess on the basis of 49,$ of the current market value.
b) It was agreed to continue the practice of making separate alphabetical
listings of the "old" and "annexed" area properties.
c) Considering'each property separately, assessments were made for all
land and buildings in the "old" village.
d) The meeting of the Assessors was recessed until 7:00 P.M. October 21,
1954.

properties in the "annexed" area of the Village through W.'H. Murray,.
3. Meeting was recessed until 7:00 P -M. on Tuesday, October 26, 1954.
