1. The minutes of the meetings of October 12, 19, 21 , 26, and 28, previously
furnished to the Trustees in mimeographed,form, were approved without reading.

3. The Mayor read a letter from Pond and Moyer in regard to work on village
trees and
IT WAS VOTED that the Clerk send a copy of the Resolution of October 12, 1954,
in regard to work by Pond and Moyer under the supervision of Cedric H. Guise,. to Pond
and Moyer.
4. The Treasurer reported a balance i.n the General Fund of $24,822,.98 as of
November 1, 1954.
IT WAS VOTED to authorize the Treasurer to send letters to'.those delinquent in
their 1954 taxes.
5. IT WAS.VOTED RESOLVED: Pursuant to the Village Law of the State of New York,
Section 126a, "that.the Treasurer is hereby required to return his warrant and.the tax

roll to the Board of Trustees at their next meeting or at least before February 1,
together with an account of the taxes remaining due, containing a description of
the lands upon which such taxes were unpaid as the same were placed upon the tax
list together with the amount of tax so assessed and,the interest thereon, verified
by oath before any justice of the peace or judge of a court of record or notary
public or any other officer authorized to administer oaths, that the taxes mentioned
in any such account remain unpaid and that after diligent efforts he has been
unable to collect the same.
6. There was no report by the Engineer.
7. The Police Commissioner reported on the activities of the-Police Depart-
ment during the month of October.
8. There was no report by the Clerk.
9. IT WAS VOTED by the Board acting as Assessors, to approve the Veterans
Exemptions as presented by the Clerk for the 1955 tax roll, subject to audit by
the Clerk of the Veterans Exemption applications of Mr. Stephen Gondek, 300-Com-
stock Road and Mr. Richard I. Fricke, 104 Northway Road.
The Clerk audited the-Veterans Exemption applications and found them in
order.
10. The Mayor reported that the City Committee had unanimously adopted the
proposal of the Village Committee on annexation. The City Committee will present
their annexation report to a joint meeting of the Common Council and Board of
Public Works.within the next two weeks. If the Common Council approves of the
annexation report
IT WAS VOTED to mail ballots to all property owners of the Village, together '
with the final annexation policy, a letter of transmittal, definition of a quali-
fied voter and a return envelope. The ballots are to be mailed not later than
ten days after the city decision and must be returned to the village office within
ten days from the day of mailing.
The Clerk was instructed to publicize the fact'that residents not receiving
ballots by mail may pick them up at the Village Office.
11. Trustee Whiting brought up the matter of conformity of the present
operation of .the Cornell Heights Residential Club to the village zoning ordinance.
Following discussion the Zoning Officer was requested to write a letter to the
present lessors, Savoy Corporation, asking them to give a statement of their
operation.
12. The next regular meeting was set for Tuesday, January 4, 1955.
