MINUTES of a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the
Village of Cayuga Heights, held, on.April.29, 1953 at 7 P.M. in
the schoolhouse.
1. On this date the Board of Trustees sat fbr four hours
from 7 P -M. until.11 P.M. as. a'. Board: of Assessors to hear
grievances and .complaints 'with regard'to the assessment roll as
prepared by them for the.annexed "ort3on.of the Village for the
year 1953 and as-filed with the.Village Clerk'on April'16, 1953•
2. A complaint was received from, the .folloviing:
Paul R. Ridley., 111 N. Triphammer Roach) regarding the
assessment on his property

W- N. Triphammer Road
The claimant appeared in person to object to the '
assessment of $10,000 on his,property and stated that the entire
cost of building and land was 010,500.
ACTION: IT WAS VOTED to decrease the assessment
from 010,000 to $5,250-
3. IT WAS VOTED WHEREAS: The Village Board of Cayuga Heights,
acting as assessors of the said Village according to a resolution
previously adopted, have prepared an assessment roll for the
annexed portion of the Village for 1953 and filed it in duplicate
with the Clerk of the Village on April 16, 1953 'and
WHEREAS: The Clerk caused a notice to be published in the official
newspaper of the Village and posted in five conspicuous places
in the Village on April 18, 1953 that the 1953 assessment roll
for.the annexed portion of the Village was filed at.his residence,
102 Northway Road, Cayuga Heights,'New York,.where.it might be, .
seen until April 28, 1953 and
WHEREAS: On the said.28th day of April a Grievance Day.was held
and the said Board met from 7 P.M. until 11 P.M. on the said day,
one person appearing and changes made as disclosed'in the minutes
of the said Board, now therefore: be it
RESOLVED: that the said assessment roll as now prepared and

verified with the assessor's oath be now completed, verified
and'ordered filed with.the Clerk, in the total amount of
03,122,751, which includes land and buildings, less exemptions,
as per column 12 of the assessment roll.
