MINUTES of a special meeting of the Village Board held
on Monday, October 13, 1952, at 7 P.M. at the office of
Engineer Crandall.
PRESENT: Henry J. Shirey, Mayor
W. S. Randel, Trustee
Sanford Atwood, Trustee
E. A. Whiting, Trustee
C. H. Guise, Treasurer
Carl Crandall, Engineer
1. IT WAS VOTED to reoommend to the residents of the
Village at a public hearing that the present Parking Ordinance
be amended as follows:
"Article VI. Parkin? and Traffic Violations
Section 2 of Article VI shall be eliminated and replaced
by the following:
Section 2. Parked Vehicles
(a.) No vehicle shall be permitted to park within the
property lines of any public street or road or park in the
Village of Cayuga Heights between the hours of 1:30 A.M. and

6:00 A.M. for a longer period than one hour.
(b.) No vehicle shall be permitted to park within the
property lines of Highland Road, on the east side of said Road,
for that portion between the south line of the Village and
Hanshaw Road, at any time.
(c.) No vehicle shall be permitted to park within the
property lines of Wyckoff Road, on the southwest side of said
Road between Highland Road and Overlook Road, or on the north-
east side of said Road between Overlook Road and Cayuga Heights
Road, at any time.
The above sub - divisions of Section 2 shall not apply to
vehicles of fire, police or highway departments, public utilities
or physicians, while the same are being used in the performance
of official or professional duties.
Any violation of this section shall constitute a traffic
infraction and any person violating the same shall be deemed
guilty of a traffic infraction and shall be punishable by_a
fine not exceeding 050.00 for each offense."
The time of the public hearing on the above amendment to the
'
Parking Ordinance was set for Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 9 P.M. in the
schoolhouse.

2. The Board. of Trustees, acting as a Board of Assessors,
considered each property separately and completed the Village
Assessment Roll for the year 1953 and filed the roll with the
Clerk.
3. The time set for the next meeting.was on Grievance Day
November 19, 1952, from 7 P.M. until 11 P.M. in the schoolhouse.
