The following additional bills were approved for,baynent: ,. , GENERAL Carl Crandall 69 WHEREAS at a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Cayuga Heights held at 1002 Triphammer Road in the said village on the 8th day of January 1951 the Treasurer did comply with the aforesaid directions, his said statement being attached hereto showing a balance unpaid of $45.31 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Cayuga Heights do credit the Treasurer with the amount of $45.31 according to the provisions of Section 126 -a of the Village Law of the State of New.York. 6, RESOLVED that the properties on which the following taxes and assessments are unpaid be advertised for sale on February 2, 9, and 16, and if still unpaid their sale be authorized on February 23, 1951 at 5 :15 P.M. at the schoolhouse according to the provisions of Section 126 -d of.the Village Law of the State of New York: POLICE WATER & FIRE R. S. Bootjiroyd Agency 9.10 SANITATION W. D, Lyme 51.52 4. Treasurer Guise reported a cash balance of $lp.,116.09 on December 31st. The Treasurer reported that all tax bills were now paid with the exception.of a'mowing charge of $6 on the property of Mildred Werder. He also reported that Enos Pyle, 625 Highland Road, who resides outside.the Village,.had not paid his sewer service charge in the amount of 037.90 plus interest. IT WAS VOTED to discontinue the sewer service to Mr. Pyle because'of non - payment of the sewer charge if not paid by January 20th. 5. The Engineer reported.that the wind'•storm.of November 25th had blown.: down a eve ral. trees, in 'the .Village. but no serious damage: vies done'to, wires 'The Engineer.reported that. the tree in.front of Mrs.'Weaver.ls house.on.Kline Road.and` the one in. front of "Parratt ' s house.'on' Wyckoff Road' had :been f removed.. The'remo'val'of these trees.was"didoussed'at the._October 24th meeting,"at whioh: time" the.Engineer' was :authorized to pnoceed with the removal with one -third of the expense:to be paid by, `the Telephone:Co.,' one =third by: the .Electric & Gas Corp. and one -third by the Village. The:Engineer reported that the two.new hydrants had been installed, one'at the corner of Midway and Northway Roads and the other near Dr.:Geer's residence. The Engineer reported that he had investigated the-complaints made by Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wright, Mrs. Maude C. W16gand, Elizabeth Wiegand, Luella Williams,. and Mr. and Mrs., Henry, Dietrich regarding the unsightly condition caused by Mr. Ybor of 515 Highland Road dumping rubbish in ,the Pleasant Grove Creek. He said that Officer VanZile had investigated and Mr.. Ybor bald he did not realize,his yard man was, dumping the rubbish. in the Creek and promised to remove it as soon as weather permitted: The Engineer reported that he had.issued a building permit to Prof. John Gebhard for the construction of "a house'on Brook Lane at an estimated" cost of $250,000 He also,reported the issuance of a building permit to'Mrs: "Margaret McPherson for the construction of a house on Highland Road at an ".estimated cost 1 1 I r• s January 8, 1951 State of New York ) County of Tompkins) Cedric H. He herewith returns.to the Trustees of said Village the 1950 Tax Warrant and the 1950 Tax Roll,'witil a list and. description of the properties against which accounts,owing.to the Village remain unpaid as of JanuarY.B, 1951s with interest penalties computed to February 28, 1951; he further affirms that he has made repeated and diligent efforts without success, to collect the same. Police.Justioe Shirey made a- detailed 'and highly.. interesting report regarding the arrest.of.Kenneth "Edwards who was.involved in a drunken brawl with his wife at.his home bn the corner of Oak,Hill Road and Oak.Hill Place.. l0. The Mayor•appointed the Board of Trustees'to'sit as a committee -of- the - whole to make up.the budget for the.year 1951 -52• 11.
