IT WAS VOTED that Mias.:Harriet E.` 'Maynard ; local Registrar of Vital Statistics, be paid;$25 25 for issuing five ,death certificates at 25 cents, 12, prompt reports at ;02 each ae,. certified by the Commissioner of Health of the, State of New York, also 12, additional for issuing five burial permits and three transit permits at 25 cents each (total $,27.25). 5. IT WAS .VOTED RESOLVED:.Pursuant to the'Village Law of the State of, New York, Section 126a;-that* the .Treasurer is hereby required to return his warrant and tax roll to the Board of Trustees at their next meeting or'at least before February let, together with an account of the taxes remaining due, containing a description of the lands upon which such taxes were unpaid as the same were placed upon the tax list together with the amount of tax so assessed and interest thereon, verified by oath before any justice of the peace or�• judge of a court of record or notary public or any other officer authorized to administer oaths that the taxes mentioned ih any such account remain unpaid and that after diligent efforts he has been unable to collect the same.. 6. The Engineer—reported damage on Hallowelen was somewhat lest than in "the previous year and stated that he had three men on patrol including the Village Police. Patrolman and the . two'Village workmen. The Engineer reported that the sidewalk on Triphammer Road had been completed from the northern boundary to the Driveway of "Stephen Cleary at a cost amounting to 0 1058.70. Thi's did not include, however, two weeks work on the part of the'Village workmen in providing fill. IT WAS VOTED that the balance remaining.in the budget item for -permanerit ;- i:mpro'veuients "`" in the amount of $, 726.30, be transferred to the.Street Improvements Capital Reserve Fund. The Engineer reported that the hydrants are being installed at the corner of Midway and North way Roads, and near Dr. aeerls• . house and that the work should be completed in.a few dayd. 7. The Clerk reported that he had consulted with City Clerk Springer and'Superintendent.of Public Works, Laverty regarding the computation of the fire•.service contract and found some minor. errors. , He:reported; that the. amount had.been re- computed pith the,result that'the.tctal came to $3,240.25. He reported I e 6i 6, 11. Adjourned at 10:25 P.1d. Clerk. .that Trustee Randel had checked the figures and thought they were correct. IT WAS VOTED that the computation be made a part of these minutes and that the Village approve the sum of $#3,240.25 as the amount to be included in the fire service contract with the City of Ithaca for the year 1951. 8.Trustee Holt reported for the committee consisting of. himself, Mr. Shirey and Mr. Crandall appointed to investigate the matter of "slow" and "stop" signs on through streets as it might affect the proposed ordinances. He reported that the committee had agreed no change in the proposed ordinance should be made but that "dangerous intersection" signs should be installed at Devon Road and Cayuga Heights Road and at Kline and Highland Road. IT WAS VOTED to approve the report of the committeenand the ' Engineer was authorized to proceed to install the signs recommended. 9. IT WAS VOTED that the attached ordinances as revised by the Board be adopted to become effective Dec. 15, 1950- 10. IT WAS VOTED to hold the next meeting on January 9th at 7:30 and by invitation of Trustee Randel it will be held at his home. 11. Adjourned at 10:25 P.1d. Clerk.
