MINUTES of the annual meeting of the residents of the
Village held on Monday, March 20, 1950 at 8 P.M. in the schoolhouse.
1. The meeting was called to order'at 8 :15•P.M. and
Mayor Kenerson was elected Chairman and J. B. Trousdale Secretary.
The only resident that appeared in addition-to the Board
members and officers was Mr. E. A. Whiting. .
2. The Treasurer gave his report which summarized the
income and expenses for the fiscal year March 1, 1949 to Feb. 28,
1950. This report indicated a cash balance in the general fund
at the end of the year of'05,857.21.
3. The Treasurer presented the tentative budget for March 1,
1950 to Feb. 28, 1951 and a discussion was held as to the major
changes in the new budget over the last budget.
4. Mr. E. A. Whiting, Chairman of the Nominating Committee,
presented his report. He said the Committee wished to present
the following.slate: for Mayor; C. J. Kenerson; for Trustees,
Sherwood Holt and C. I. Bayles.
5. IT WAS VOTED that the nominations be closed.
6. The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 P.M.
