on Monday, October 6, 1947 at 7:30 P.M. at the home of Trustee

1. The minutes of the Sept. 8th meeting,were read and
approved.
2. The following . bills paid on authority of the Mayor
were approved:

3. The following additional bills were approved for payment:

4. The Engineer•reported-that he had disaussed-the proposed
water -contraet•between-the•City and,the Village-with Mr. Miller
and Mr. Lee and suggested that a contract be drawn up,with no
terminal date-except for-termination-upon 30 days notice, as such
a contract-would be more -practical until such time as the Greater
Ithaca Committee--makes its report-.:.
5. The Engineer reported that there was some doubt about
getting the Triphammer Road washout properly fixed this fall and
he contemplated making temporary repairs to-the sidewalk. He
said it was likely that the County would cooperate in installing
a larger size pipe under the road.
The-Engineer reported that a large stump had been- removed-
on Highland Road.and that.August Albee .had.completed.:the.culvert
at Wyckoff Road, that the State had cleaned out the gravel at

the east side of the culvert by Sigma Chi and that the Kline Road
washouts had been filled in. He stated that'he had made
arrangements with Gleason & Knight for the use of the roller on
Kline Road and that proper repair of the flood damage-on-this road
would cost several hundred dollars. The Engineer also reported
that considerable work had been done in building gutters on
Northway Road.
6. The Treasurer's report was presented showing a cash balance
of 09,516.611
7. IT WAS VOTED to have the next meeting in Trustee Shirey's
office at 7:30 P.M. on October 20th.
8. IT WAS VOTED to hold Grievance Day on November 18th in
the schoolhouse between 7 and 11 P.M.
9. Adjourned at 10 :15 P.M.
