1. The minutes of the meeting of February 3rd were read
and approved'.
2. The following bills paid on authority of the Mayor were
approved:

' 4. The Engineer reported that an out of town investor was
Interested in building an apartment house on the Kappa Delta:Rho.
lot east of Highland Road of such a size that it would exceed the

Village zoning ordinance with regard to the four apartments per floor and
15% limitation. The Engineer said that he had referred the
investor to the Board of Zoning Appeals and that'he thought the
request for-such an apartment house in this-area was-reasonable.
5. Police Commissioner Crandall reported that Officer
VanZile, while off duty in civilian clothes; was badly beaten up
by a group of thugs with the result that he suffered two broken
ribs, black eyes, and a concussion of the skull, causing him to
be hospitalized for some time. Due to his appearance he had been
able to work only nights recently. Due to lack of any definite
clues it appeared doubtful if any of his assailants could be
apprehended.
6. The meeting adjourned at 8 P.M. to enable the Trustees
to attend the annual meeting -of the residents of the Village,
and was re- convened at 9:10 P.M. '
7. The Clerk read -a letter from Town Supervisor-Harry
Gordon-in-which he stated that it is not- the intent of the
Town Board to extend the-Water-Tank Road to meet the Kline Road
if the Water-Tank Road should be deeded to the Town-.
IT WAS VOTED that Water Tank Road as described in the map
prepared by Carl Crandall be deeded to the-Town of Ithaca-for-
public highway purposes and that Mayor Kenerson be authorized
to execute the deed.
8. IT WAS VOTED to recommend the tentative budget to the
new Board-for-adoption.
•9. Treasurer Guise and Clerk Trousdale..were.appointed
inspectors of "election for the annual election to be held on ,
March 18, 1947.

10. The time set for the annual meeting. of the Village
Board was April 7th at 7:30 P.M. and upon invitation of Trustee
Randel it was decided to hold it at-his home.
11. The meeting was adjourned at 9 :30 P.M.
