MINUTES of a regular meeting of the Village Board held.on
Monday, June 2, 1947, at 7:30 P.M. at the home of
Trustee Sayles,
410 Triphammer Road.

1.. The minutes of the April 28th meeting were read and-
approved.
2. The following bills paid on authority of
the Mayor were

5. Engineer Crandall.said it was reported that.the Zoning .
Board of Appeals had authorized the.construction.of,an apartment.
' house on Country Club Road off Highland Road on the "former Kappa
Delta Rho.lot,,the building to occupy 17%6 of the lot.

It was reported that Walter C. Heasley was interested in
the construction of a gas station and store at he corner of

said he had been asked by Mr. Heasley if he could have a water
connection.
IT WAS VOTED to _authorize the Engineer to issue a peram�it.Qw� �
to connect to the Village water mains for the proposed gas
station and store at the corner of ^Upland and Hanshaw Roads
upon payment of the usual 475 fee.
The Engineer reported that as a result of the recent heavy
rains some of the culverts had been stopped up, the worst trouble
occurring on Triphammer Road where a section of the Village
sidewalk had been washed out.
The Engineer reported that the Gas & Electric Co. had
stated that it might be possible to install the additional
Village lights in the near future. Additional lights were
authorized by this Board several years ago.
6. Inasmuch as the terms of Prof. Ralph Curtis and
Sherman Peer as members of the Zoning Board of Appeals expire
on June 30th, 1947
IT WAS VOTED that the recommendation of Mayor Kenerson
for the appointment of Paul Brainard and Wilbur S. Randel to
fill these vacancies be approved, the terms to be from June 30,
1947 to June 30, 1950.

7. IT WAS VOTED to hold the next meeting on July 14th
and upon invitation of Trustee Shirey it will be held at this
residence at 106 Northway Road.
8. Adjourned at 9:30 P.M.
