Minutes- 11/19/1946WHEREAS: The Clerk caused a notice to be published in the - official newspaper of the Village.and posted in five conspicuous places in the Village before November 8, 1946 a notice that the 1947 assessment roll was filed at his residence, 102 Northway Road, Cayuga Heights, New York, where it might be seen until November 19, 1946 and WHEREAS: On the said 19th day of November a Grievance Day was held and the said Board met from 7 P.M. until 11 P.M. on the said day, one grievance submitted by letter and changes made as disclosed in the minutes of the said Board, now therefore be it 133 said assessment MINUTES of a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Cayuga Heights held at the schoolhouse at 7 P.M. on assessor's oath Nov. 19, 1946. ' 1. On this date the Board of Trustees eat for four hours from with the Clerk, 7 P.M. until 11 P.M. as a Board of Assessors to hear grievances and complaints with regard to the assessment roll as prepared by them for the year 1947, and as filed with the Village Clerk on e03,1129253• October 22nd, 1946. 2. Complaint was received from the following: Dr. William C. Geer regarding the assessment on his laboratory at 624 Highland Road Bounded N - Village line E - Highland Road S - Cayuga Park Circle W.- Cayuga Park Road The claimant objected by letter to the assessment of ' 015,000, asking for a reduction to 414,000. ACTION: No change was made. 3. IT WAS VOTED, WHEREAS: The Village Board of Cayuga Heights, acting as.assessors of the said Village according to a resolution previously adopted, have prepared an assessment roll for 1947 and filed it in duplicate with the Clerk of the Village prior to November 1st, 1946 and WHEREAS: The Clerk caused a notice to be published in the - official newspaper of the Village.and posted in five conspicuous places in the Village before November 8, 1946 a notice that the 1947 assessment roll was filed at his residence, 102 Northway Road, Cayuga Heights, New York, where it might be seen until November 19, 1946 and WHEREAS: On the said 19th day of November a Grievance Day was held and the said Board met from 7 P.M. until 11 P.M. on the said day, one grievance submitted by letter and changes made as disclosed in the minutes of the said Board, now therefore be it RESOLVED that the said assessment roll as now prepared and verified with the assessor's oath be now completed, verified and ordered filed with the Clerk, in the total amount of e03,1129253•
