5." Treasurer Guise made his,;report indicating a; balance
of 46,845.37 on Novemberl'st. He` reported that.the "$75 note of "
Franklin Cornell 3rd was.etill unpaid Inasmuch as the water has "'
been shut off `on this` property,

6 Engineer Crandall,reporte,d , that ' a`permit had been',
issued to C. _N. Silcox for the installation of,a septic tank
after he,had filed satisfactory .specifications.
He also reported.that a,'permit had been issued to "
the Tompkins County Trust Co. anting for 'the .Embody Estate for
a sewer connection on the Embody'Estate property
The Engineer: reported that a very large number.of,_
electric str,eet,lights,had been destroyed lately, apparently by.
being shot with a- rifle. The Trustees,were.requested to::appre- ..; .'
hend the culprit if possible. Very little trouble,,was,:erperienced'
on Hallowe'en night, the:one' exception being,the removal of a
$30 reflecting stop sign. -

of the Village of Cayuga Heights held at the Schoolhouse at
6:00 P.M. on November 19, 1940.
1. On this date the Board of Trustees sat for four hours,

assessment remain unchanged.,..

3. IT v'AS VOTED to adopt the. following reso3ution:
WHERZAS: The Village Board of Cayuga Heights, acting as Assessors
of the said Village according to a resolution previously adopted,
have prepared an acsessment roll for 1941 and filed it in duplicate
with the.Clerk of the Village prior to November 1st, 1940 and
WHEREAS: The Clerk caused a notice to.be publiched in the official
newspaper of the Village and posted in five conspicuous places in
the Village before November 8, 1940 a notice that the'1941.,
assessment roll was filed at his residence, 101L Northway Road,
Cayuga Heights, New York, where it alight be seen until November 19th,
1940 and
WHEMEAS: On the said 19th day of November a Grievance. Day was
held and the said Board met from 6 :00 P.M. .until 10 :00 P.i:. on
the said day, two persons appearing and one. letter received, and
changes made as disclosed in the minutes of the said Board, now
therefore be it
