H. Guise, Treasurer Carl Crandall, Engineer 1. The minutes of the meeting of..Feb. 6th were.read and approved. 2. The following bills paid on authority of the Mayor were approved:. Mayor Baxter presented a letter from Mrs. Libby ' complaining of a rubbish pile on the Nicholls property, and appointed Trustees Peer and.Kenerson to investigate the matter and determine,whether or not the Village Ordinance was being violated..'. 6. At 8x15,,recess. was, declared : for.the Trustees to attend, the annual Village meeting, and at 9 :00 P.M. Ahis', .meeting, re�- convened: 7.�. Engineer Crandall - stated that., he had no thing in.. - particular to' report, but wished to..suggest_.that in.;the, proposed . budget Item 5e, !'Surface treatment of. roads" be increased from, #1,500 to $1,750.,the #250,,Ancrease to be deduoted'from'the contingency fund because of the desirability =of making repairs to Northway Road. ' 8. Mayor Baxter appointed Treasurer`Guise, and Clerk , Trousdale as Inspectors of.the Election-to be:held'on March 21st. 9. IT WAS VOTED that the budget presented by the Budget Committee (page 37•of Minute Book) be,..recommended for adoption to the incoming Board, of Trustees with the following'. change: namely, that 0250 be deducted from the contingency fund 1 and added.to the item "Surface treatment of roads" thus increasing that figure from $1,500 to #137500 such increase to provide for repairs to Northway Road. 10, Trustee Kenerson reported that he,had,had`an "informal discussion with Prof. F. B. Howe regarding bus transportation in the Village, and stated that. there vise a.possibility: that the buses would not be operated another year dueAo the'fact.that 1, ' certain residents of the School District had objected to the use of the school buses by the Ithaca,Railway, for other than school 36 purposes, B 11.
