5. Tne Engineer reported-that practically no.work.had:been
done during the month with the exception of cleaning the :snow from
the sidewalks. :
6. Tl}e Clerk reported.that.he` had sent:.Manager. Stewart of
Ithaca Railway, Inc. a letter in.which ":.the Village offered to•send
a copy of the Cayuga.Heights Bus Schedule to all residents in this, .
vicinity, but had received no answer:

' 7. Treasurer Guise returned his warrant and tax roll for
-the year 1938 and the following resolution was paseed:
WHEREAS at a regular meeting.of the.Board of Trustees of
the Village'of, Cayuga Heights, held on Dec. 12, 1938 at the
Schoolhouse.in the said Village,,the Treasurer of the said Village
was directed to return his warrant and tax roll.and an account of
the taxes, assessments and charges remalning. due, containing a..
description of the lands .,upon which such taxes were.unpaid--as.the
same were placed upon the tax.list, together-,with the amount of
the taxes, assessments or charges so assessed and the interest
thereon, together with a sworn statement that the taxes, assessments
and charges mentioned in such account remain unpaid, and that after
diligent efforts he.has been unable to collect the same, and.
WHEREAS,at a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees;.of the
' Village of Cayuga Heights held at the Schoolhouse•of the said Village
on the 11th day of January; 1939, the Treasurer did comply with the
aforesaid directions, his said statement being attached hereto
showing a balance unpaid of 0736.29,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that:the Board of,Trustees of the
Village of Cayuga.Heights do credit the Treasurer.with the amount of
0736.29 according to the provisions.of section 126 -a of..the Village
Law of the State of New York.
8. Mayor Baxter appolnted.Trustee.Kenerson to.'examine the
Treasurer's account of unpaid taxes, 'prior. to, making..the tax :return .
certification by the Board of Trustees.
9. The following resolution was adopted
RESOLVED:.:.That the following unpaid.taxes.be advertised'.for
' sale on Jan. 27th, Feb.. 3rd, Feb.,10th, and that if'still unpaid
their sale be-ordered on Feb. 17tho 1939 at the School ho us e,

according to the provisions of section 126 -d of the Village Law of 1
the State of New York;
1. Foster Coffin - Part of Lot No. 150, bounded on the north by
lands of H.L.Ames, on the bast by lands of
J.E.Knott, on the south by lands of Beta
Theta P1 Fraternity, and on the west by lands
