read as follows:.
November 30, 1936.
Prof. C. A. Guise ";
College of Forestry,
Ithaca, N. Y.
Dear Ced:-
If you would be good enoggh sometime to give me ,
a memorandum of what I•owe for the water tax on the
remainder of my lot up to and .including December 31st
1:37
with interest, I will send you a check.
You may recall that I sold a strip of my lot
.on the North side of Prof. E. A. Burtt, and $50
was sent yyou for this so, as I figure it, there
.is .about NO left plus interest. Will you also
make note that my lot includes an additional
small piece on the South West corner which I
owned at the time the assessment was made.
Sorry to.trouble you so much about this,
but I regret overlooking it, and I am just
trying to get things cleaned up before the end
of the year.
Best wishes,
Sincerely yours,
[signed] R. E. Treman
Z4
IT WAS VOTED: That the Village will accept, the sum of
$73.75 as the principal and interest in full to January 1, 1936
for the water contribution mentioned, in the above letter, and
that the Treasurer was instructed to reply accordingly to Mr.
R. E. Treman.
3. A petition from certain residents of. the 100 block on
Overlook Road was read, as follows:
138
November 9, 1936
Village Board
Cayuga Heights Village
Gentlemen:
We, the undersigned residents of the 100 Block on
Overlook Road have noted with appreciation that the village
is building a sidewalk along Wyckoff Road. We understand.
that this is only the beginning of certain other work that is
in contemplation by the village. Under the circumstances,
and because of the fact that equipment will probably be in
that vicinity, we are calling your attention to the sidewalk
condition which- exists On Overlook Road in the hope that
something may be done there as a part of the program. The
condition of the sidewalk on Overlook Road is very much
involved with the whole problem of drainage and -that in turn
with the street surface and a proper sidewalk solution can
hardly be arrived at without considering these other items.
We believe that a well
village is highly desirable
benefit of'our experience,,v
work iq/,tg be done on our b
ol
FAMAM N
founded sidewalk policy for the
and we will be glad to give the
h local 'conditions if .and when
oak.
ILI
IT WAS VOTED to lay this petition on the table, and advise the
signers thereof that action will be considered at the public
hearing on the budget in the - spring.
