Guise, Treasurer J. W. MacDonald, Clerk H. E. Baxter,.Trustee G. I. Dale, Trustee A. W. Crowley, Trustee Carl Crandall, Engineer 1 The minutes of the meeting held on February 3, 1936 were read and duly;, approved. 2 The following bills paid on the authority of the mayor were approved: TAXES: eF xford W. Smith, Collector, State and County taxes on village property LIGHT• e— York Electric and Gas Corporation, lights to January 31, 1936 1-138.62 3 The treasurer made a report with regard to the sale of taxes (see minutes of February 3, 1936, item 10). No sale of taxes was necessary as all indebtedness owed to the village was cleared up. There are no outstanding bills owing to the village.except the account of Jess Dell, Jr. for which post -dated checks dated April 1 and May 1 for $75, each are in the..Treasurer's hands. (See minutes of February 3, 1936, item 8) 4 The treasurer reported that lot no. 224,bssessed to Dr. A. M. MoGaohen and Esther B. McGeehan, has been sold to Samuel Bishop, 309 East Court Street, Ithaca, New York. •5 The engineer reported that lot no. 3 on Corson Place, 95 99 1 12 IT WAS VOTED to accept this tentative estimate to be ordered filed and to direct the clerk to present it to the annual meeting of the Village Board to be held on the first Monday of April,,pursuant to section ,3'3 of the village law. 13 IT WAS VOTED to adopt the 2)llowing resolution: RESOLVED that according to the provisions of section 52 of the village law of the state of New York, a, village election will be held on March 17, 1936 at the schoolhouse in the Village of Cayuga Heights, the polls to be open between 4 and 8 P. M., at which time two trustees will be elected in place of Trustees Baxter and Dale, whose terms expire eand a mayor will be elected in place of Mayor Heinicke whose term expires. The Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice to be inserted in the village paper at least ten days prior to the election with regard to the time and place of the election and the offices to be filled, and to publish a copy of the said notice in at least six conspicuous public places in the village giving the same information. That the annual meeting of the village residents be held on March 16, 1936 at 7:30 P. M. 14 The meeting adjourned at 9:40 P. M. At the annual election held on March 17, 1936 the total number ' of citizens voting was 10. H. E. Baxter was elected Mayor, and G. I. Dale and H. H. Scofield were elected Trustees.
